Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support our Lab & Onsite Support Services (Lab/OSS) team. The role focuses on managing hazardous waste programs and projects on client sites in the San Francisco Bay area, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager from our San Leandro, CA office.

You will develop expertise in OSHA regulations, perform waste preparation and paperwork, and ensure safe handling and inspection of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety practices.
• Prepare chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including federal/state documentation.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites and load/unload waste.
• Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
• Occasionally perform Environmental Health and Safety audits for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to clients.
• Develop regulatory expertise to meet compliance needs (RCRA, DOT, OSHA).
• Conduct spill response assessments and cleanup efforts.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response (optional).
