Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Planner/Siting Specialist to assist with routing and siting of electric transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities and developers. You will contribute as a writer and technical support, help develop proposals, plans, and move projects toward closure in a cost-efficient manner.

Experience with NEPA documents and GIS capabilities is a plus; knowledge of energy infrastructure permitting is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, planning, or engineering.
• 5 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routing and siting studies for energy projects.
• Support NEPA documentation and environmental assessments.
• Contribute to proposals and pre-qualifications.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
