Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Site Assessor experienced in Phase I ESAs. The role focuses on conducting Phase I ESAs, site reconnaissance, and historical research to assess contamination risks.

You will draft clear reports and collaborate with project managers. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of ESA writing experience, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or other related field.
• 2+ years writing Phase I environmental site assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.
• Internship or consulting experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and EPA regulations.
• Perform site reconnaissance to identify potential environmental concerns.
• Investigate historical land use through archival sources.
• Analyze environmental records to assess contamination risks.
• Draft ESA reports with findings and recommendations.
• Prepare maps, figures, and logs.
• May collect limited samples while following safety protocols.
• Communicate with clients, property owners, and site contacts.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical reviewers.
• Track timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Stay current on environmental regulations and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities.
