Retlif Testing Laboratories in Ronkonkoma, NY seeks an Environmental Simulation Test Engineer III for a full-time role. You will lead testing programs, mentor staff, collaborate with customers to craft test procedures, and help drive sales with precise quotations.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field or equivalent training, at least 4 years in environmental simulation testing, and familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in mechanical engineering for Environmental Simulation Testing.
• Experience preparing test procedures for internal and external use.
• Experience with job costing and quotations.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160 standards.
• Hands-on vibration/shock testing experience; temperature/humidity/dust testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technical staff during contracted testing.
• Develop program-specific test procedures with customers.
• Perform pre-test reviews, sample prep, setup, execution, and documentation of results.
• Interact directly with customers and support sales with time and cost quotations.
• Contribute to development of new service offerings and ensure compliance needs are met.
