Job summary

Aramark Environmental Services is seeking a Lead to supervise hourly staff in facility cleaning operations during events and perform hands-on work as needed. This on-site role focuses on sign-in/sign-out, supplies coordination, and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of environmental services experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under time constraints while following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Able to perform basic math functions and work under time constraints.
• Knowledge of infection control and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with shift start/end sign-in, supplies, and equipment sign-out.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of supplies to meet staff needs.
• Perform assessments of restrooms and on-call rooms as required.
• Adhere to sanitation procedures and safety regulations.
• Report safety issues, injuries, and disciplinary concerns.
• Supervise staff assignments to ensure clean, high-quality services.
• Help formulate action plans to fix inefficiencies and quality gaps.
• Assist in training, coaching, and motivating employees.
• Maintain accurate records for quality control and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and client contract standards.
• Maintain records and reports for regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Job Description

The Environmental Services Worker Lead provides work leadership to hourly employees in completion of their job duties in Aramark Facility Services areas of responsibility during the event and will also perform hands-on work.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists management and supervisors at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
• Assist shift operation in the preparation and delivery of supplies necessary to help ensure all employees' needs are met
• May need to perform overall assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms
• Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures
• Report all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary)
• Supervises all staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
• Responsible for formulating action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
• Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation
• Maintains an accurate record keeping system for quality control systems
• Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
• Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
• Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and client contract
• Maintains all records and reports necessary to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes
