Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ seeks an experienced Environmental Services Director to lead Environmental Services operations within a healthcare environment, focusing on cleanliness, safety, regulatory compliance, patient experience, and operational performance.

The role directs frontline teams, develops leaders, and drives financial performance while partnering with hospital and Aramark leadership to meet client objectives and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant leadership experience may be considered.
• Significant Environmental Services leadership experience in a healthcare or acute-care hospital environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, complex Environmental Services operations and sizable frontline teams.
• Experience leading and developing managers and supervisors.
• Strong understanding of healthcare environmental services standards, infection prevention, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing operational metrics, KPIs, quality data, and analytics to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs

• Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers

• Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins

The Environmental Services Director provides overall leadership for Environmental Services operations within a healthcare environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, regulatory compliance, patient experience, and operational performance.
