Job summary

Aramark Environmental Services Worker Lead is responsible for providing hands-on leadership to hourly staff in Aramark Facility Services during events and for performing hands-on work. The role includes supervising assignments, coordinating supplies, and ensuring safety and sanitation procedures are followed.

The position supports management, trains and motivates staff, maintains quality records, and ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards to deliver high-quality cleaning

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to apply elementary math functions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assists management and supervisors at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
• Assist shift operation in the preparation and delivery of supplies necessary to help ensure all employees' needs are met
• May need to perform overall assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms
• Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures
• Report all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary)
• Supervises all staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
• Responsible for formulating action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
• Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation
• Maintains an accurate record keeping system for quality control systems
• Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
• Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
• Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and client contract
• Maintains all records and reports necessary to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes
