Job summary

Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek is seeking an Environmental Services Worker II (PRN) for first shift. You will help keep patient areas, hallways, and support spaces clean, sanitary, and welcoming, following infection control and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, and waste management with attention to supply tracking and the hospital's B Safe program. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with healthcare cleaning experience; CHEST

Responsibilities

• Read and follow verbal and written instructions; operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Support supply tracking and training modules as needed; uphold the B Safe program and hospital safety protocols.

The Environmental Services Worker II plays a vital role in supporting patient care and safety by ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for performing cleaning, floor care, and waste management tasks in accordance with infection control and safety standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• will consider candidates with relevant experience in lieu of diploma.

Required Work Experience:

• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial work in a healthcare or similar setting preferred
• typically 1-3 months or more.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Annual DOT certification

Skills:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures
