Job summary

Lake Health District in Lakeview, OR is seeking PRN EVS staff to maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming patient rooms and common areas by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces according to policy. Shifts are 8 hours with a 6:00 am earliest start and 12:30 am latest end; duties include cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, and ensuring safe, comfortable areas for patients and staff.

Education: High School Diploma preferred; CHEST/CHESP certification preferred; prior EVS experience preferred.

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal requests from supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming patient rooms and shared areas by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: CHEST/CHESP Certification, preferred.
• Experience: Previous EVS experience preferred.
• Job Knowledge & Skills: Capable of performing duties as assigned. Ability to read and write English. Ability to follow written and verbal requests of immediate supervisor.

Employment Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.

Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.

Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required upon conditional job offer.
