Mercy - Fort Smith is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS/Housekeeping) on a PRN basis. You will perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility to support infection control and a healing environment.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma and prior hospital EVS experience; you should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, perform manual tasks, and interact professionally with patients and staff.

• Prior hospital environmental service experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience working with the public; customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
