Mercy Fort Smith is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility, maintaining infection control and regulatory standards. The role supports a hygienic environment that aids patient healing and wellbeing.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, prior hospital EVS experience, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
