Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking an Environmental Services Associate responsible for housekeeping duties within the Environmental Services Department. You will maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment, handle waste and soiled linens, and report maintenance needs.

Training on safety, infection control, and proper chemical use will be provided. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and CHEST certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license.
• CHEST Certification preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, dust-free environment to support infection control.
• Performs terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepares room for new patients.
• Handles waste and soiled linens according to procedures and uses universal precautions.
• Reports safety hazards and participates in mandatory meetings and trainings.
