Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring for an Environmental Services position at 11906 Aurora West Allis Medical Center. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, with a 7:00am-3:30pm schedule, every other weekend and three holidays per year.

You will clean patient care areas, public spaces and offices using power equipment, maintain floors, manage linens, and support facility operations. No formal education required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean furniture, carpets, rooms, hallways, stairs and offices using power equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Use chemicals safely and reference MSDS as required.
• Set up rooms for meetings and transport AV equipment.
• Clean patient care areas and restrooms, lobbies and offices; perform terminal and project cleaning.
• Sort, stock and deliver linens; dispose recyclables and waste per guidelines.
• Report mechanical failures to supervisor.
