Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Cleaning Associate to maintain patient care areas, surgical spaces, restrooms, lobbies and offices. You will dust, damp mop floors, clean surfaces, and prepare rooms for patient care while following infection control guidelines.

No formal education or prior experience required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, operate cleaning equipment, and communicate clearly with staff.

• Ability to follow and understand oral and written instructions and communicate with others.
• Ability to work alone and to understand the physical arrangements of the facilities.
• Performs tasks without disrupting operations of the doctors, nurses, patients, public, and other staff.
• Ability to set priorities, be aware of and follow department policies and procedures in all situations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Clean patient care areas, surgical spaces, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies and offices.
• Clean all environmental surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, furniture.
• Dust and damp mop floors in patient and exam rooms, corridors, restrooms.
• Replace cubicle and window coverings.
• Gather and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste following guidelines.
• Sort, stock and deliver linens; prepare soiled linens for transportation.
• Prepare dismissal and transfer units and distribute supplies.
• Fill and clean supply dispensers.
• Inventory linens and cleaning supplies; order additional as needed.
• Report mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
