Job summary

Parklands Care Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness and organization for residents and staff. You will perform daily cleaning, restock supplies, assist with laundry, and manage waste in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role supports a safe, comfortable environment with opportunities for quality improvement training and collaboration across departments. Benefits are provided for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of environmental services or related experience.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
• Restock supplies and restrooms, and replenish linens and towels
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing
• Handle linen and trash removal, and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of public areas, including common spaces and hallways
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
