Job summary

Parklands Care Center is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep the facility clean, organized, and safe for residents and staff. You will perform daily cleaning, restocking of supplies, laundry duties, and trash removal while maintaining public areas and supporting inter-department collaboration.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. A fast-paced environment with interruptions is common.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing
• Handle linen and trash removal, and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of public areas, including common spaces and hallways
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
