Responsibilities

As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS), you will:

• Clean and disinfect patient, ancillary, and public areas daily following established procedures.
• Operate equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums, maintaining and storing them safely.
• Handle and dispose of waste streams and soiled linens properly.
• Complete discharge room cleans promptly.
• Report maintenance or refurbishment needs via work orders.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness and repair needs.

You will be provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety while maintaining a safe environment for all.
