Some of What You Will Do

• Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary, and public areas daily following established procedures.
• Operates manual, battery-powered, and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums. Maintains and stores all equipment safely and hygienically.
• Handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens properly.
• Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans.
• Follows all hospital safety, risk management, and infection control practices.
• Reports work orders for maintenance or refurbishing needs.
• Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and repair needs.

Qualifications

Preferred: High School Diploma.
