Role Description The Environmental Services Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Leawood, KS. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in patient rooms, surgical areas, public spaces, and staff work areas. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and terminal cleaning, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, handling biohazardous and regular waste in accordance with safety and infection control protocols, and replenishing supplies such as linens, paper products, and hand hygiene materials. The technician collaborates with nursing and clinical teams to respond to cleaning requests, supports room turnover between patients and procedures, and follows hospital policies, OSHA guidelines, and infection prevention standards. The position also involves operating cleaning equipment, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and consistently delivering service that supports patient comfort and a positive hospital experience.

  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support patient care operations.
