Job summary

Oaklawn Psychiatric Center in Elkhart, IN is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep our campuses clean and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors. The schedule is 6pm–2am, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth within a supportive, faith-based health system.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, stocking supplies, lifting up to 20 pounds, and handling household chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience
• At least 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Keep Oaklawn campuses clean and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors
• Schedule: 6pm–2am, Monday–Friday
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner
• Order supplies and ensure carts are stocked
• Lift up to 20 pounds to chest level
• Work safely with common household chemicals
• Able to bend, stand and reach

What You’ll Do as a Environmental Services (ES) Technician:

ES Technicians are an important part of the Oaklawn team, keeping our campuses clean and welcoming for staff, clients and visitors.

• Schedule - 6pm -2 am Monday - Friday

Primary responsibilities and physical demands for the ES Technician position include:

• Following a schedule and responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Ordering supplies and ensuring carts are well stocked
• Lifting 20 pounds to chest level throughout the day
• Ability to work safely with common household chemicals
• Consistent ability to bend, stand and reach

Minimum hiring requirements:

• High school diploma or one year previous experience in housekeeping
• At least 21 years old
