Job summary

The Swinomish Casino & Lodge is seeking an Environmental Services Tech I to keep its facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff on day or swing shifts. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, gaming areas, offices, and other public spaces; vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies.

You will also maintain gaming equipment, report maintenance needs, and help with event setup as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of related cleaning or environmental services experience.
• Class IV Swinomish Gaming Commission permit required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, gaming areas, offices, hallways, restaurants, and public spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, empty trash, and stock supplies.
• Maintain gaming equipment and surfaces; report maintenance needs.
• Assist with event setup and room arrangements as needed.

The Environmental Services Tech I (EST I) helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Swinomish Casino & Lodge. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, gaming areas, offices, hallways, restaurants, and other public spaces; vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and stocking supplies. EST I also maintain gaming equipment and surfaces, report maintenance needs, and assist with event setup and room arrangements as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Day or Swing Shift

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and 6 months–1 year of related cleaning or environmental services experience. Class IV Swinomish Gaming Commission permit required upon employment.

Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of standing (up to 2 hours continuously) and extensive walking. Employees must regularly reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. unaided, up to 60 lbs. with assistance frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally. The position may involve exposure to secondhand smoke, wet conditions, cleaning fumes, airborne particles, moving equipment, and moderate to loud noise.
