Job summary

Wabash General Hospital seeks an Environmental Services Tech to maintain a clean, sanitized environment for patients, visitors and staff. The role covers hospital facilities and affiliated off-site offices, with responsibilities for parking area security and a detailed security log.

Shift is Monday–Friday with every other weekend, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, training on all shifts, and rotating on-call. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required, with physical ability to lift up to 35

• May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License and dependable vehicle for transportation to off campus facilities.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds frequently; 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, sanitized environment for patients, visitors and hospital staff.
• Maintain security for parking areas and keep a security logbook.
• Lock and unlock doors to ensure safety for staff, patients and visitors.
• Complete tasks timely and accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality and a positive hospital image.

Completes assigned tasks timely and accurately. Maintains patient confidentiality and promotes a positive image of the hospital.
