Wood County Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor for the evening shift. The role leads and trains staff, coordinates daily operations, and communicates across shifts to maintain a clean, safe environment in the hospital.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, performing inspections, updating schedules, and assisting management with policy updates while supporting a culture of safety. Onsite position with a strong focus on teamwork and quality standards.

It supports quality standards through regular inspections, accurate documentation, and effective scheduling, while assisting management with policy updates, performance reviews, and resource planning. The Supervisor, Environmental Services is an onsite position.Essential FunctionsTrain employees thoroughly in proper equipment use, updated cleaning methods, and productivity expectations.Research new cleaning techniques, equipment, and cost‑saving opportunities to keep departmental practices current.Supervise daily operations by scheduling staff, assigning duties, monitoring performance, and conducting performance reviews.Communicate effectively across all shifts and departments, acting as liaison while maintaining accurate personnel and supply records.Inspect hospital areas regularly to ensure cleaning standards are met, policies are followed, and improvement needs are identified.Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request.
