Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex clinical systems issues with minimal disruption to operations.

• Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, validation, and user support across teams.
• Deliver comprehensive training and onboarding materials; provide ongoing education and hands-on support.
• Coordinate meetings with clinicians, operations, and IT to prioritize improvements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Support safety culture initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Hours per week per offer letter; may require longer hours as needed.

Clinical Informaticist / Information Services / Full Time / Days

The Clinical Informaticist independently supports and optimizes clinical information systems to meet operational and clinical need while applying advanced knowledge of workflows and applications to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and contribute to projects. The Clinical Informaticist is an onsite position.

Essential Functions

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to clinical systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
• Analyze user needs and workflows to recommend and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency, usability, and patient care.
• Contribute and/or coordinates system implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts, including build, testing, validation, and user support.
• Deliver comprehensive training, education, and at the elbow support by creating training materials, conducting onboarding and ongoing education, evaluating user competency, and ensuring effective system use.
• Coordinate meetings to work closely with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to gather requirements, prioritize improvements, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
• Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: At least 10 years of significant relevant healthcare experience.

Experience: Five (5) years in a clinical informatics or healthcare informatics field or three (3) years in a healthcare setting providing direct patient care.
