Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC seeks an experienced Environmental Services Director to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor-care teams. You will drive cleaning standards across the facility, ensure resident areas remain safe and welcoming, and participate in scheduling and budgeting processes.

This role offers an opportunity to shape a new, state-of-the-art care environment with strong emphasis on hospitality, teamwork, and resident-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor technicians, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure cleanliness of all areas of the facility.
• Assist the team in performing routine cleaning of residents’ rooms, nursing units, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobby, lounge, restrooms, and corridors.
• Demonstrate ability to utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure for laundry, housekeeping, and floor care.
• Assist with residents' clothing and inventory.
• Move residents’ personal items for discharges/room changes.
• Manage staffing schedules, daily hours, and paid time off requests.
• Maintain spend down logs according to budget.
