Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead the Environmental Services team and help prevent infections. The role directs work of EVS technicians and floor staff, ensuring quality, safety and timely completion.

• 5 years supervisory experience at an acute health care facility (preferred)
• Hazardous waste awareness certificate within 1 year (required)

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and assign work to environmental services technicians and supervisors.
• Document completion of work through daily productivity reports.
• Complete inspections, rounding, and meetings with other departments to ensure quality of work.
• Lead the Environmental Services team to prevent infection and support patient care.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, 2nd Shift. Hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Friday with alternating on-call, weekends and holidays. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of EVS or Leadership experience. Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years previous supervisory or lead role experience in a large organization Required
• 5 years previous supervisory experience at an acute health care facility Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
