Job summary

Alomere Health's Alexandria Clinic Maintenance team is hiring an Environmental Services Technician to maintain the facility's cleanliness and support patient safety. The role uses cleaning equipment and chemicals to meet sanitation standards and accreditation requirements.

Evening shifts with a $2.25/hour differential are required, with a base schedule Monday–Wednesday 4:30pm–1:30am, plus occasional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Moping
• Deep Floor Cleaning
• Window Washing
• Keep required areas stocked
• General outdoor duties such as shoveling snow
• Day to day trash removal from the building
• Recycling garbage sorted and placed in appropriate disposal area
• Hazardous waste handled and disposed according to guidelines
• Communicate between all team members in regards to daily/nightly tasks
• Possess awareness to any maintenance issues that need to be addressed and communicate those issues to the Facility Manager
• Address the housekeeping needs of the clinic staff in regards to patients, employees, and Providers
• Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
• Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
• Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
• Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department
• Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability

Job description

Department: Alexandria Clinic Maintenance

Employment Status: Full-Time (1.0), 80 hours per pay period

Hours/Schedule: (Flexible with Hours)

Evening Shift Differential: $2.25 per hour

• 5 days or shifts per week and Flexible with hours, but base schedule is


• Monday - Wednesday 4:30pm - 1:30am.


• Wednesday 4:30pm - 1:00am.


• Friday 4:30pm - 11:30pm.


• Weekends: Every 9th weekend for Express Care (Around 2 hours)

Position Objective:

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. This position utilizes various equipment and chemicals to ensure the overall sanitation meets of the accreditation requirements.
