Job summary

Alomere Health’s Alexandria Clinic Maintenance team seeks an Environmental Services Technician to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in alignment with accreditation requirements.

This part-time role (0.8 FTE) offers evenings from 4:30pm to 1:00am with a $2.25 per hour shift differential and flexible hours. Weekend coverage is included on a rotating basis to support Express Care.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Mopping
• Deep Floor Cleaning
• Window Washing
• Keep required areas stocked
• General outdoor duties such as shoveling snow
• Day to day trash removal from the building
• Recycling garbage sorted and placed in appropriate disposal area
• Hazardous waste handled and disposed according to guidelines
• Communicate between all team members in regards to daily/nightly tasks
• Address maintenance issues to the Facility Manager
• Address housekeeping needs of the clinic staff
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
• Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
• Support Alomere Health's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
• Meet work schedule with flexibility
• Foster respectful working relationships with staff and patients

Job description

Employment Status: Part-Time (0.8), 64 hours per pay period

Hours/Schedule: (Flexible with Hours)

Evening Shift Differential: $2.25 per hour

Monday thru Friday: 4:30pm to 1:00am (Hours are flexible)

• 4 or 5 shiftsa week

Weekends: Every 9th weekend for Express Care (Around 2 hours)

Position Objective:

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. This position utilizes various equipment and chemicals to ensure the overall sanitation meets of the accreditation requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

General Cleaning Duties:

• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Moping
• Deep Floor Cleaning
• Window Washing
• Keep required areas stocked

Waste Removal:

• Recycling garbage sorted and placed in appropriate disposal area

Communication:

• Communicate between all team members in regards to daily/nightly tasks
• Possess awareness to any maintenance issues that need to be addressed and communicate those issues to the Facility Manager
• Address the housekeeping needs of the clinic staff in regards to patients, employees, and Providers

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
• Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
