Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for the 2nd shift in Durham, NC. You will oversee frontline staff, coordinate services, and ensure high-quality support for the facility.

Responsibilities include establishing standards, scheduling, hiring and training, supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, and providing monthly performance reports while coordinating external vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service related field with high customer contact.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services are rendered.
• Assists in the hiring process; interview, hiring and training of new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to the facility.
• Conducts monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Provides staff education and continuous training.
• Communicates with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinates outside services (e.g. Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program)
