Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc in Indiana is launching an Environmental Services Manager in Training program. You will learn to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility. The paid 12-week program combines hands-on and computer-based training.

This role focuses on compliance, staff development, and effective communication with administration; upon completion you will be prepared to manage environmental services operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
