Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn to manage housekeeping, laundry and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. The 12-week paid program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for a leadership role.

You will learn to supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and communicate with administrators while developing skills in records management and operational oversight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
