Job summary

You will learn to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility with hands-on and computer-based training. The program is structured and paid, designed to develop you to supervise environmental services in a healthcare setting while growing through training and real-world supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/ administrators and HCSG staff.
