Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Manager of Environmental Services to lead environmental services operations across the campus and off-site locations as needed. You will support the Director with shift operations, ensuring a clean, infection-control compliant environment that promotes patient throughput and service excellence.

The role involves analyzing departmental performance data, leading improvement projects, managing equipment and training programs, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3 years of experience in environmental services or supervisory role OR High school diploma and 4 years of experience in environmental services or supervisory role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Certification in Healthcare Environmental Services (CHEST, T-CHEST, CHESP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental services divisions and support shift operations.
• Oversee floor care team and performance; implement standard processes to reduce variability.
• Analyze and report departmental performance data and safety reports; lead improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements and support training programs.
