Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a 16-week interactive training experience designed to prepare you for managerial responsibilities, including:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Learn operational skills for housekeeping and laundry roles, including equipment use.
  • Leadership Development: Assist in staff training, quality control, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Policies & Procedures: Ensure quality standards, safety, inventory, and customer service are maintained.
  • Reporting: Maintain records related to income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training and quality assessments.
  • Leadership: Handle managerial tasks such as payroll, staffing, coaching, purchasing, and budgeting.

Additional responsibilities include effective communication, safety adherence, punctuality, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training, performed safely and independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Reside within the service area.
