Position Overview

The Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a 16-week interactive learning experience, combining hands-on and computer-based training. It covers:

  • Operational skills for housekeeping and laundry roles.
  • Leadership development and staff training.
  • Policy adherence, safety, and quality standards.
  • Recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Managerial responsibilities including payroll, staffing, purchasing, and budgeting.
  • Effective communication and safety protocols.
  • Customer and resident interaction skills.
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership potential post-training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Compliance with vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, and perform physical tasks.
  • Residence within the service area.
