Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. You will learn to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations through hands-on and computer-based training.

This paid 12-week program develops you to lead environmental services in healthcare settings, focusing on policy compliance, staff development, and effective communication with administrators and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must effectively communicate with occupants, administration and leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Ability to maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
