Job summary

New Perspective Hawthorne Woods is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead the housekeeping team and oversee building systems ensuring safety, comfort, and a welcoming environment for residents in Washington, PA. You will manage budgets, vendor relations, and maintenance projects, while coordinating with staff to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to the well-being of seniors, with flexibility for weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training with expertise in building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, kitchen).
• Strong ability to manage personnel and prioritize projects in a team setting.
• Experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare environments preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic devices.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

As the Environmental Services Manager, you will lead the housekeeping department, ensuring that our community's physical property is in excellent condition. You will oversee systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, and kitchens while managing projects, budgets, and vendor relationships. You'll also play a key role in fostering a welcoming, engaging environment for our residents.

• Experience in senior living, long-term care, or similar health care settings preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic devices
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Other duties as assigned
