Job Overview

The Environmental Services Manager maintains housekeeping and laundry services to ensure a safe, sanitary, and clean environment for all patients, visitors, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, direct, and control operations of the Environmental Services Department.
• Uphold requirements, TJC standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to environmental service staff and laundry staff as appropriate.
• Support cultural diversity by ensuring the delivery of quality, equitable, and culturally competent patient‑centered care.
• Promote and maintain an inclusive work environment and culture respectful and accepting of diversity.
• Develop and maintain cultural diversity and sensitivity training as part of new employee orientation and ongoing education.
