Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate for a full-time night shift at our New Smyrna Beach location. You will perform comprehensive cleaning tasks, dispose of waste, and ensure sanitized, well-maintained patient areas while coordinating with hospital staff to meet daily needs.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read/write/speak English, and prior environmental services experience.

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash in an appropriate manner.
• Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, high dusting, wall washing, scrubbing, bed making and vacuuming.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.

Job Description:

Collects and disposes of trash in an appropriate manner. Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, high dusting, wall washing, scrubbing, bed making and vacuuming. Collects and stages soiled linen for pick up. Cleans assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces. Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
