AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado is seeking a PRN Environmental Services Associate to maintain cleanliness across patient and public areas. Responsibilities include sanitizing surfaces, stocking supplies, and using hand-held tech to support bed flow.

A CNA or related experience is preferred, with strong English communication and organizational skills. Position requires familiarity with infection control, plus ability to read instructions and operate cleaning equipment.

Job Description

Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash and sanitizing all surfaces. Demonstrates complete knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures, and proper operation of cleaning equipment. Documents all work performed. Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated. Collects and stages soiled linen for pick up. Accesses ancillary units, restrooms, offices in assigned areas. Cleans and disinfects areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility standards. Disposes of normal and biohazardous waste. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes equipment that includes cleaning/trash cart, and other janitorial supplies. Utilizes Bed Management system to maintain productive flow of bed throughput, using hand-held technology for tracking.

• Full knowledge of basic environmental duties [Required]
• Understanding of medical terminology, ICD-9/10, and CPT-4 coding [Required]
