Job summary

Hendricks Community Hospital Association in Hendricks, MN is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, infection-controlled environment across patient areas and common spaces.

Hours are 5am–1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Starting wage is $19 per hour, with a weekend differential of $2 per hour. The role includes stocking supplies, linen handling, and ensuring a positive patient and staff experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work hours 5am–1:30pm and weekends/holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively and hear/distinguish speech.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and neat environment in the assigned area.
• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, washing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Keep carts stocked with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Maintain stock on cleaning carts with wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• Sort, wash, and deliver linens as needed.

Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!

Position Highlights

Environmental services technicians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility with an importance on infection control.

Hours

5am to 1:30pm

Weekend and holiday rotation- Weekend differential of an additional $2 an hour

Starting wage $19 depending on experience

What You Will Do

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.
