Great River Health Systems is seeking an evening housekeeping worker to maintain a clean and safe environment across patient rooms, public areas, lounges, and restrooms. Duties include cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met throughout all hospital spaces.
The role requires stamina and attention to detail; prior cleaning experience is preferred, with good English language skills and the ability to follow safety procedures. Weekend/holiday rotations may apply.
Minimum Hiring Wage: From $16.50 per hour
Scheduled Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

A Brief Overview Routine cleaning to providing a clean environment. Ensures the cleanliness of patient rooms, public areas, lounges, restrooms and other assigned areas in such a way as to ensure that the departments/ clinics standards are maintained. Duties include cleaning rooms and offices, empty trash and linen receptacles, vacuum, dust, sanitize and spot clean, check and fill all dispensers, clean restrooms, dry mop floors, sanitize floors. Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain the hospital, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. May perform the destruction of discarded patient health information. What you will do Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, micro-fiber rags, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Gather and empty trash and recycling. May be required to safely clean in and around therapy swimming pool. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Extract or shampoo carpets. Routine clean patient rooms, offices, public areas, procedure rooms and ancillary areas using the 8 step method.
