In this role, you will be manage maintenance and housekeeping/laundry departments at the Community; plans, develop, organizes, implement, evaluate and maintain departmental services; negotiate and maintain contracts with outside vendors.
Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of environmental services administration functions in a health care institution
Possess technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment generally used in a health care institution
Knowledge of construction principles
Ability to regularly inspect equipment, buildings, storage rooms, linen closets, utility and janitorial areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
Ability to hire, train and coordinate work efforts of Community Environmental Services staff
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
Training in multiple building trades or other related training
Previous experience managing both routine maintenance and housekeeping/laundry units
Minimum of 5 years related facilities experience
Health care setting experience preferred
