Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. You will ensure adherence to policies, supervise operations, and coordinate with facility leadership to deliver safe, quality service.

The role requires strong staff supervision, effective communication, and dedication to high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience preferred.
• Maintains positive attitude and communicates effectively with staff, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Lead teams in light and heavy housekeeping and laundry duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with staff, clients, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.
