Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and act as a liaison between occupants and HCSG staff.

The role emphasizes staff training, safety, and consistent service delivery across varying shifts, with opportunities for professional development and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience preferred.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring policy and state/federal compliance.
• Lead teams in light/heavy housekeeping and laundry aide duties across shifts.
• Oversee staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment with HCSG software.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and proper PPE; maintain safety precautions.
• Ensure consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.
