Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking an Environmental Services Department Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and high-quality resident services.

The candidate will lead training, maintain records, and act as a liaison between staff and facility leadership, ensuring smooth operations across shifts. Strong supervision and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead light and heavy housekeeping and laundry duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear properly; ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with staff, clients, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.
