Environmental Services Compliance Manager - REMOTE

Summary: The Environmental Services Compliance Manager is responsible for environmental management support, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with Ryder's environmental policies and regulations at operational facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of customer, operational, and regulatory needs related to vehicle maintenance and warehouse management, enabling the development and implementation of environmental controls to reduce risks, costs, and improve compliance. The position reports to the Group Manager of Environmental Services and involves interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Remote Work & Travel: This is a REMOTE position with the possibility of traveling up to 50%.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide daily compliance support to vehicle maintenance and warehouse facilities, including routine audits and compliance visits.
2. Stay current with local, state, and federal environmental regulations affecting Ryder; develop and implement appropriate environmental controls, policies, processes, and forms.
3. Update and expand field management tools and training programs related to waste management, spill response, regulatory reporting, and more.
4. Perform data analysis and reporting, measure waste spend, communicate results, and recommend cost savings.

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a large corporate setting, with familiarity with environmental laws impacting transportation.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000, with potential bonuses and incentives. Ryder offers comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
