Job summary

Terraphase Engineering Inc. is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive the growth of our Environmental Services practice across New England.

You will balance business development, project leadership, and technical excellence while expanding client relationships and mentoring teams. The role emphasizes strategic pursuit leadership, collaboration with technical leaders, and delivering value through regulatory knowledge and client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• 15+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Proven ability to lead major pursuits and win complex environmental projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary environmental projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting in New England.

Responsibilities

• Expand Terraphase's Environmental Services practice across New England.
• Lead capture planning, pursuit strategies, proposals, and client presentations.
• Build and strengthen relationships with public agencies, developers, utilities, and clients.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentoring to project managers and technical staff.
• Ensure high quality project delivery and maintain client satisfaction.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local environmental regulations and trends.
