Job summary

Resorts at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD, is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant Supervisor to oversee daily EVS operations and ensure our facility remains clean, sanitary, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

You will supervise EVS/housekeeping staff, assign duties, inspect rooms and areas for cleanliness, help train staff, monitor supplies, and ensure infection-control practices are followed while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous Environmental Services or housekeeping experience required.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, hospital, or assisted living experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to be hands-on and assist staff as needed.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control practices preferred.
