Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks an Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean and safe environment across patient areas, offices, and clinics. You will perform housekeeping tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection control practices to meet high standards.

The role offers a 40-hour schedule with a 3pm–11:30pm shift, every other weekend and holiday required. Competitive pay and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with operation of heavy duty electrical cleaning equipment.
• Ability to read simple instructions, write, and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, orderly environment in patient areas and offices.
• Operates cleaning equipment and keeps carts stocked.
• Removes waste and hazardous material per procedures.
• Disinfects bathrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
